**** you

i want to dedicate this post to some asshole and scumbag who feeds on other peoples misery. a big FUCK YOU to them!

wondering why i'm writing this? my housemate has lost his carburetor from his bike yesterday. and guess what, it was the 3rd time someone has stolen it this month! i wouldn't go all islamic about how bad it is stealing money from an orphan (yes, he is an orphan) because i believe it's as bad as stealing anything from anyone if it'll caused unwanted misery or any financial disposition.

and the last incident yesterday happened during the day.

again..a big FUCK YOU to the thief.

There is only one sin, only one. And that is theft. Every other sin is a variation of theft....When you kill a man, you steal a life. You steal his wife's right to a husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone's right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness. - Khaled Hosseini, Kite Runner.

p/s: thanks to nobeat for this quotation.

to keep my spirit up

i've deleted this old post because this conversation between me and a friend has lifted my spirit far beyond what i've imagined. and the previous post isn't relevent anymore. nama dirahsiakan bagi memelihara imej si perbicara.

********** : you're not a loser
********** : you're a winner
Mohd Nazir : hehe
********** : ko nak tau kenape aku ckp camni?
Mohd Nazir : apasal?
********** : sebab ko tak lost pabila putus cinta
********** : sebab ko tak tinggal kawan pabila putus cinta
********** : dah paling hatko skali, sebab ko tak bunuh diri pabila putus cinta
********** : 3 bende besar tuh buat ko jadik winner

p/s : the previous post make me look more of a loser than lifting my spirit up. and a friend shouldn't wrote things like that to a friend.

tomorrows keep on blowing in from somewhere

I've been doing what I'm told
I've been busy growing old
And the days are getting cold but that's alright with me

Sunlight sends you on your way
And those restless thoughts that cling to yesterday
Never be afraid of change

disconnected

what came first? the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos..that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands...literally, thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection...pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable...or was I miserable because I listened to pop music? - High Fidelity -

i'm offically divorced. yah..i broke up with her (u know who) or she broke up with me, it doesn't really matters. it's hard for me, but i'll cope with it. don't ask me why coz the reasoning would be better if it stays between us. no one is to be blame here. i'll get over it. time will heal.

luckily we're still friends. she's too amazing to be withdrawn completely from my world..

here are the top 5 playlist for my first break up (if u've watched high fidelity or read the novel, u'll know what this "Top 5 list" is about. and yes, this is actually my first relationship. suprised?).

in no particular order, here we go..

1. Lucy in the loo - third track of their split relase with 4 elm kids (i don't know the title of the track)

2. Emiliana Torrini - Dead Things

3. The Cure - Apart

4. Stars - Life Effect

5. REM - Everybody Hurts

And so we disconnect
The room goes quiet around us
Nothing left to protect
The end has finally found us

p/s: none of the lyrics in these songs really suggest what we've been through. its just some songs. and again, we're still cool. we're still friends. we holds no grudge against each other.

mengantuk!

i haven't sleep yet. my dad returned from his Haji this morning. his flight was scheduled to arrive at 12.30 but the plane delayed and because of that, it arrived at 2.05 in the morning instead. no one else was there to celebrate the return of Haji Omar except me.

he had a flight ticket back to JB at 7.30 in the morning but he wanted to leave some things on his rented room in shah alam and besides, he said that he badly needed a decent shower. so, back to shah alam we go.

after his bath, we went back to KLIA for his flight back to JB. i stopped by perhentian nilai on my way back to KL for my prayer and breakfast and when i arrive in KL, a massive traffic jam make me wish that i hasn't stopped for that long.

oh..and he gave me this new handset as well. a motorola. i wouldn't know what the model is but it can store some mp3s. the only thing is, it doesn't come with any earphone jack. the only way i'll be listening to those mp3 (if i want to) is thru the speakers, which is not really pleasant. so, i'm still craving for an mp3 player.

my class starts at 10.00 am. kalau gua tido ni memang tak pegi klas la jawabnya!!

jacket and long pants

i just realized that the sensation of driving a bike at night is quite overwhelming. you don't have traffic jams, nothing to dodge, and you have an almost 180 degree of viewing pleasure. and most of all, the cold morning breeze which breaks when passing through your body, create a sensation as if you're on a paraglider, free to roam the earth. don't drive too fast though, or the smooth sensation will be ruined by your own adrenaline rush. unless if you prefer the adrenaline rush instead of the smooth sensation of course.

and be prepared with a jacket and long pants. otherwise, you'll have the chill effect..

6 for RM24!

2 weeks of this semester has gone. i bet this semester will be another busy one. maybe busier than last semester. on the first week alone, we've been briefed about 3 projects that we should do along this semester, and that's only for one subject. i bet there're not much work for other subjects except for some tutorials and ocsasional assignment.

but for the 3 projects, we have to design 3 different things. the first would be to design an ice cream machine. a machine to make ice cream. not that ais krim malaysia that ur mom used to make when u're little u silly. i don't really grasp the idea but basically, u have to mix ice and a little bit of salt so that the melting temperature for the ice will go below 0 degree celcius. it sounds easy and maybe it does. that's why we're suppose to design and produce the ice cream machine as the final product.

the second one would be to design a car chasis. this would involve a lot of calculation involving force, finite element and stresses. luckily we're not asked to design the floor pan of a car. the car's floor pan (which is basically the 'floor' of the car) is one of the hardest part of car to design besides the engine that most car manufacturer use the same floor pan design for different model of car. ask perodua if u don't believe me. but we don't have to produce the actual chasis, just designing on papers. but it do involve a lot of calculations and drawings, so it may be a lot harder than actually producing the ice cream machine.

the third project is to design a ventilation system for a 2 storey house. a ventilation system is basically an air conditioning unit with other additional system which is the air circulation system, cooling tower and chill water system. a lot of theory from thermodynamics will be used to design this so a lot of revision are needed.

and then again, i also have to build a website for my web authorization subject. so a lot of HTML will be needed and i'll be uploading the website on a .com domain. don't think that it's free. i'll have to pay for the domain name and web hosting but it has a special price for UM students and it's one of the requirement for me to pass this subject, so i won't object. i'm thinking of putting a site that put up reviews of bands, movies and books. just like 3hive, but i'll expand it on books and movies. got any suggestion for my domain name?

like i said, this would be quite a hectic semester for me. and for now, i'll try to meet my friends in subang and shah alam more often as i believe i wouldn't have the luxury to visit them once i've been very busy.

last saturday i went to paylessbooks with zairi, adan and taufik. they're selling some books for cheap. 5 for RM12! so being cheap as i am, i took 5 books from the cheap rack, and one book by zadie smith from the normal priced rack and pay RM24 for 6 books! worth it eh. rather than paying RM30++ for one new books, i got 6 for RM24! this will last me at least a year to finish them. hahaha!

Hello 2007

this is my dream car for now. the new 2007 shelby mustang GT500. 5.4 liter supercharged V8 engine producing 475 horsepower and 450 pounds feet of torque. maybe it's not comparable to the new 1001 horsepowered bugatti, but this is a beauty.

Happy new year everybody!
